Full details: A traditional, cosy, family run 17th century coaching house, offering quality accommodation, real log burning fires, excellent home cooked food, a well stocked bar (selection of real ales, wide range of malt whiskies) and a warm welcome.

Ye Olde Nags Head is in the picturesque village of Castleton, the walking and cycling capital of the beautiful
Peak District National Park. (Double rooms from £50 per room per night).

The cosy well-stocked bar maintains the tradition of olde world comfort and congeniality that mark out Ye Olde Nags Head Hotel as so different from the rest.  The traditional 17th century atmosphere has been combined with the highest levels of friendly service to offer you an unequalled welcome.

Food & Drink
During the day why not visit our tea rooms – try afternoon cream tea, a home-cooked traditional meal or choose from the widest selection of desserts in Castleton!

During the evening you can dine in front of an open fire in the restaurant and enjoy our experienced chef’s seasonal menu and specials and select a wine from our extensive winelist.  In addition, at the weekend do not miss our famous “all you can eat” carvery - our customers regularly travel 40 or 50 miles for this treat!

Our cosy bar boasts a large open log burning fire and offers well kept real cask ales, a selection of wines by the glass, bottled beers from around the world and for that special nightcap a wide range of malt whiskies.

Accommodation
All our rooms are fully en-suite and complete with colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities.  For that special occasion (or a well earned treat!) we offer rooms with traditional antique four-poster beds and/or Jacuzzi en-suites.

Rooms on the second floor offer splendid views of the Peak District and some offer views of the spectacular Peveril Castle.

Tariffs
Double rooms from £50 per room per night Monday to Thursday, from £72 per room per night Friday to Sunday.

Events
The downstairs bar and linked restaurant areas are available for private functions such as birthdays, anniversaries, receptions etc.
