Ye Olde Nags Head, a timeless 17th Century Coaching Inn, situated in the beautiful village of Castleton in the Peak District, Derbyshire. Ye Olde Nags Head now enjoys a log-burning fireplace in all 3 reception rooms aimed at providing the very best in customer comfort.
Guests can expect those small touches such as a complimentary bottle of wine in all rooms and our New Menu has been created using quality local and organic produce with delicious Specials served daily.
The Nags Head has 10 en-suite letting rooms including their charming four-poster bedrooms, three with Spa bathing. Rates are from £50 per room per night midweek. Antique furniture has been introduced to the bedrooms and a schedule of careful refurbishment has now commenced. All works are being carried out with sympathy and consideration for the period. Our aim is to create 17th century tradition combined with today's modern day creature comforts!

One of the specialities already introduced is a ‘Derbyshire Breakfast’, rare breed sausage, smoked cured bacon, homemade black pudding, hens egg, plum tomatoes, field mushrooms, red onion marmalade and fried bread served with a large mug of tea or coffee!! Wow, all for just £5.95, served 8am - 11am,7 days a week. Take away service also available, bacon and sausage rolls etc.
